WHO I WORK WITH
Finding a counselor can be really tough. Maintaining that motivation is a great way to get started! If you are ready to start making changes in your life, but need help getting started you've come to the right place.
I work with adults who are experiencing life transitions, depression, anxiety, relational distress and/or members of the LGBTQ community.
I love supporting diversity and helping bring your ideal self closer to the strengths you already possess. Self-acceptance is my primary objective in helping to motivate change.
I utilize various techniques for helping you achieve your goals. My primary methods are rooted in Narrative therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy). In a nutshell, Narrative therapy looks at the stories and messages you've heard in your life and helps identify ways that has shaped your present self. EMDR is a trauma-informed therapy that helps address various traumas experienced across the life cycle.
I offer individual counseling via a HIPAA secure video platform.
